How can you continue to be, when you know too much of the world? When you’ve seen the man behind the curtain, and you’ve seen his hands shake just a bit, how then do you soldier on with the confidence of the ignorant? Maybe, by becoming an avid listener. Maybe, that’s how you heal what you know is a sickness of same. It’s not a new idea, as my son just informed me, “Jesus said it.” And he did… It’s hard to be something new. You’ve highlighted a man and his music, but you’ve also spotlighted a dirty secret that’s still snaking through our world. It’s still painful to walk a personal path. No matter how far we think we’ve come, there’s still so damn far to go. Bob’s sound asks us to dig deep and find the courage to create the world we want, rather than lamenting what we hate. So do you, Margaret Cho. I get it. Thanks for the reminder.
