Sometimes I feel like I am the only girl in the world who feels this way….People truly don’t know what they are missing. He was absolutely fabulous in the 80′s of course, but what he has done in the 90′s and beyond has touched my soul to a level that I cannot express. So much emotion! It makes me happy to know others have experienced this as well I hope and pray it makes it to the US for Symphonica!!!

Two things:
1. I had no idea you were such a fan. Have loved your stand up forever and had no idea you love him as much as I do. I love what you said about him.

2. I was just listening to Calling You 2 nights ago driving across the Bay Bridge into SF and years later that song still gives me the goose bumps, particularly if you know that he sang that song the same day (or next day) after he found out his lover at the time (Anselmo) had AIDS. His performance that day was one of his best ever.

Finally, let’s all think good thoughts about him since he is still sick with pneumonia and had to cancel his tour.

Think leather, a dark bar, floggers and “Father Figure” – it was the only time I have ever completely zoned out on stage. Only thing better would have been him in person, instead of a recording.
