  1. Hey Margaret, aren’t you upset that Obama chose Rick Warren, one of the leading proponents of Prop 8, to deliver the invocation at his inaguration?

  2. Whaaaaaaaaa! As a white girl living in Central Japan, you made my bisexual day/week/holiday season.

Keep fighting your politicians, and remember, you are all welcome in my homeland, Canada. Please come up North and make our country more fabulous!

I get my news about North America through your blog. I have faith in you Margaret, you always blog about what is important.

    love and hugs to everyone!!!

  3. HEY! That. is. my. purple. dildo. and. I. want. that. bitch. back!!!!!

don’t worry about cleaning it though… I have my own secret scientology purposes for it.

  4. LOL Love it!
I recently wrote an article for the UVU Review paper a few weeks ago on the gay reaction to Prop 8 passing. I live in the most conservative part of the most conservative state in this country (utah valley, Utah), and I was hoping to break through with some common sense. So far, no hate mail- but I don’t think they’re paying enough attention.

Love ya! I miss your show… guess you weren’t blonde, dumb or materialistic enough for them to let you stay?

  5. Whoa… I’ve been a fan for a long time, I have to say, but… Is that play-acting at sexual assault? ‘Cause that *really* isn’t funny. And sexual assault isn’t a joke, and isn’t something to be trivialized–no matter how inane one finds the music of the latest pop superstar (And, honestly, yeah, I can’t stand that song. MadTV had some funny sketches about it that didn’t involve pay-acting at rape. That wasn’t necessary or amusing.).

  6. Did you just act out a revenge rape on another person? This is horrifying!

And people are laughing about this? How is this any better than Tosh saying “wouldn’t it be hilarious if five guys raped her right now”? You’re basic ‘joke’ here is “You know what would be funny? If Katy Perry was raped by two women.” Quick tip: that would not be funny, that would be horrifying and tragic. Nobody ‘deserves’ to be raped, not for making a song, not for making an offensive, trivializing song. Not for dressing down, not for being drunk. Straight up? Fuck this.
